Tarver Program Consultants was incorporated on July 1, 1992 in Meridian, MS. Paul Tarver began working with computers as a profession while studying at the University of Southern Mississippi and began freelance programming in 1989. Paul was developing custom applications for vertical markets such as rural water associations, company billing and inventory systems.
In 1992, Tarver Program Consultants, Inc. began developing custom interfaces between outsourced payroll systems and internal accounting systems. Working with third party providers such as ADP, Ceridian and Ultimate payroll, TPC became known nationally as firm specializing in moving digital data between different software systems effectively eliminating duplicate manual entry within their customer’s offices.
In 1996, Quality PC of Meridian was created to provide quality computer sales and service to local customer in Meridian and surrounding areas. The name was chosen to remind customers and especially the owners that the primary focus of the company is quality products and services.
Pam Tarver joined the company in 1997 and quickly became a Quickbooks specialist and eventually attained Pro-Advisor status. Our Quickbooks services and support helps guide small businesses as they automate their internal accounting systems or migrate their existing accounting systems to the easier to use Quickbooks.
In 1999, Tarver Program Consultants created KanduHosting to provide web design services, web-hosting and email services. This aspect of our business has evolved over-time from providing pure HTML development to building complete content management system websites that allow customers to take full advantage of the marketing opportunities that their website can provide. By integrating our email services with websites, our customers can move beyond simple business presence websites into fully branded email marketing directly to customers who request it.
In 2005, Tarver Program Consultants added DataGuard Remote Backup Services to its expanding line of computer service offerings. With DataGuard, TPC installs a small program on a client’s computer which then compresses and encrypts the client’s data and transmits it via the internet to our storage devices at our location. This provides our clients with a secure method of backing up critical data off-site with constant oversight to ensure that backups happen consistently and regularly.
